Sweet Grilled Salmon

4 - 1 1/2 inch thick salmon steaks
For Marinade:
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
2 tbsp soy sauce
4 tbsp melted butter
2 tbsp dry sherry (optional)
Place the salmon steaks in a disposable aluminum foil baking pan. Pour marinade over salmon and let stand for 15 minutes.
Place foil pan over the coals or gas grill. Cook until the salmon begins to flake, brushing with the sauce as it cooks. Turn the steaks after 5 minutes.
*You may also use a whole salmon and cook it directly on the grill. Remove the skin when partly cooked and drizzle with the marinade. Oil the grill first and be careful not to overcook.
