Pizza

This has been the easiest pizza dough I've ever made - and it turns out every time.

INGREDIENTS
1 tbsp active dry yeast
1 cup warm water
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
2 1/2 cups flour
*
DIRECTIONS
Combine ingredients and stir until moistened. Then knead with your hands. You do not need to wait for the dough to rise. Spread the dough onto a greased (or buttered - for a crispier crust) pizza pan. Keep working the dough out to the edges to create a nice crust. Poke the bottom of the dough with a fork. Spread with pizza sauce and toppings of choice. Bake at 425 F for 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted and the edges are browned.
*
VARIATIONS
-Lay slices of mozzerella/or string cheese around the edges, pull the dough over the cheese, and seal. This creates a yummy 'cheese in crust'.
*
-Make mini pizzas. Divide the dough into a dozen or so mini dough balls.
*
-Sprinkle a little extra basil and oregano over your pizza before going into the oven.
*
-When your pizza is done, brush a little olive oil around the edges.
*
-Try alfredo sauce, grilled chicken, sun-dried tomatoes and marinated artichoke hearts.
*
-My favorite is the Hawaiian: canadian bacon, pineapple.
