My Favorite Sugar Cookies
2 Cups Sugar | 2 teaspoons baking powder |
1 Cup Soup Cream | 2 teaspoons baking soda |
3 eggs | 1 teaspoon vanilla |
1/2 Cup buter, softened | 1 teaspoon almond extract |
1/2 Cup shortening | 1/4 teaspoon salt |
5 1/2 Cups flour |
DIRECTIONS
Combine Sugar, sour cream, eggs, butter and shortening. Beat until fluffy. Add flour, baking soda, baking powder, vanilla, almond extract and salt. Beat at low speed until soft dough forms. Cover with plast wrap and chill for 1-2 hours. Heat oven to 350*. Cut out cookies on well flowered surface and bake for 8-10 minutes. Decorate and enjoy!
